The Untold Experiment

Aside from some past and future house concerts, a tour is not on the agenda this year. This is due to various obstacles...but I have come up with the next best thing. I am calling it the "Untold Experiment". I have made some home-made packaging (see photo) for my newest album of songs "Untold" and as of now (June/July 2011) I have handed off approximately 13 of them to different friends and aquaintances around the country. Each package has instructions written on the outside that ask the recipient to listen to the CD and then pass it on to someone else who will do the same. My hope is that at least some of the CDs will keep getting passed along and have some interesting travels. The instructions also invite the recipient to log onto www.facebook.com/untoldexperiment and post the city where they are listening. This way I can have an idea about the travels of my songs. It's like a virtual tour. Except for I'm not really performing live...and I don't actually get to meet you...and then there's no endless driving and eating almonds and apples for days on end because there is nothing left in the ice chest in the back of the van.
